So how do you manage to choose a good poker site? Here you will be able to read about some criteria of choice. I hope that it will help you in choosing a good poker site much easier.

- Free poker
For those that only wish to play and see the game (i.e. without gambling), there are play money games of poker. When choosing a site to play for free, be sure that the casino can offer poker games with play money tables.

- Downloaded software and web based
Usually, online poker sites have a download section, where you can download their software on your pc, and run the program on your computer. Some poker sites offer also a web based version of their platform to see how their games looks like. It isn’t advisable to play regularly on web based online poker though, because you may be missing some apects of the game. For speed and higher playability, it is recommended to download the software. For sure you will be able to experience more fun and relax and you will enjoy poker better.

- Deposits and withdrawals
When choosing a poker site, you should also consider deposit and withdraw money options they offer. On some sites money transfers may require more time or a higher percentage of the total amount transferred. Carefully look at the money transfer methods they use ... after all it's your money!

- Place restrictions
Some poker sites have zone restrictions, that means that people can’t play if they live in this or that country. Unfortunately many jurisdictions still consider gambling unlawful.
